"out of that terrible 90% something failure rate we all hear about, how many actually applied and implemented what was being taught?" Second, The major misrepresentation of "Starting a Home Based Business and be Rich Tomorrow" doesn't help either. I look at it like going to college... Study hard, implement what your taught, graduate, get a job at McDonalds until you land a bottom feeder job with a company you want to own someday, study more and implement what your taught, 10 years later sit down to launch with Donald Trump and discuses where to invest all your money! Attend the Mulac School of IM and knock off about 8 years give or take a few. On a serious note. Go after the Get Rich Quick and your destined to fail. Treat it like building any other business (which is already hard) and you'll have a much greater chance at succeeding. Be positive, Don't Give up and Fight the Good Fight! And you do have to put your own spin and personality on things.
