Hawaii?

As true as life twists and turns, there was to be no swimming with the dolphins today. In fact, there was to be no stop in Kona at all.

As we all gathered midship for the captain to announce that the ship had been cleared to go ashore, the news spread that the sea conditions were rough and getting rougher. It only took about an hour for the decision to be made that we would not be stopping in Kona.

In fact, later in the day we were told there was talk of 20ft waves and the possiblity of evacuating residents in low lying areas.

So what does a group of 300+ LOAers do? We of course drew ourselves to experiences we otherwise would not have had and the day was arguably better than it would have been if we had gone ashore.

Pictured here is me with Esther Hicks at our evening cocktail party and there are others in the album of Jerry Hicks, me, and Sharon as well as many of our other friends.

I’ve had several moving experiences thus far and today was no exception. At a small gathering in the afternoon we were treated to a channeling session with another fellow passenger and I was able to explore some of my own skills as well.

So we gathered, met and made the most of a change in the day’s path and it may be the most memborable one yet!

We are back underway with the ship rocking and rolling toward San Diego for the next five days during which our seminars will resume and even further enlightenment awaits on the horizon.

As the sun fell on the horizon, we had an awesome experience of sailing past the lava flowing into the ocean as we drifted past the Kilauea volcano and it was one of the most moving sights I have ever seen.

It just keeps getting better and better!
